Not on the beach, but nearby Thousand Oaks is a pleasant-looking city, with low crime for a city of its size.

I really enjoyed Ventura and looking to go back.

I’ve been to the Reagan Library twice and just ran out of time to see it again. But will certainly give more notice to try to meet up with some locals.

As much as I liked Main Street, I probably won’t stay at the Crowne Plaza again. Although right on the beach it’s also right in 101 and commuter rail line. Didn’t sleep well at all.

My wife and have stayed at the Crowne Plaza a couple of times. My Aunt lived in Camarillo for many years and we would drive down from Sacramento every year to see her. Always loved the Ventura area and the weather
