Give yourself lots of room ahead. Traffic lights are the toughest look far ahead and try to determine side traffic and what the light is going to do. I judged one wrong a few weeks ago and ended ten ft into the intersection towing four down you can’t back up. Keep your drivers seat in he left tire track of the lane. Taking right turns start wide sometimes depending on what you are turning into you will need part of the traffic lane and the turning lane.
Any questions feel free in contacting me I have had two motorhome first was a 39’ the one we are in now is a 45’. Have been RVing with motorhome for 9 yrs now.
If you ever have a front tire blowout don’t hit the brakes hold on to the steering wheel mash the gas pedal to the floor then slowly let off and coast to a stop....there is a Michelin youtube on it explaining the physics. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Ozarkwoods,

A fair question.
Basically I had already loaded the Jeep with towing equipment, sewer hoses, surge protectors and other stuff. The dealership provided full gas, propane, and fresh water tanks. But by the time I went through the demo and hooked the Jeep up, I was way past checkout time. So I figure one more night in the room, an early morning (hopefully low traffic) start and I get to the campground early afternoon. Meet the guy doing my install, then a fast grocery run, and I'll start learning how to live in this thing. And when the solar install is done, I'll unhook and try a few days boondocking.

Jealous over here.
I've had my eye on a Newmar Dutch Star for a while but the wife has definitely said not a chance. Maybe one day.
Enjoy it and safe travels!

Wow! I opened this thinking pop-up trailer or little motorhome but that's some rig you have there. I hope you don't plan to register it in WV

Good choice. The DW and I decided that a pickup camper was getting to be a little cramped for month-long adventures. We did a ton of research, read a lot, looked at a whole lot of coaches and decided Newmar was the best value in the RV market. We bought a Bay Star Sport 2702. It's the size of a UPS truck and we drive it anywhere UPS goes.
If you get to Napanee, take the plant tour. We live within four hours of there and have gone through the assembly plant twice. They really are hand built by predominately Amish workers.
Also, check out Irv2 forums. And, register for Newgle. It's an on-line custom set of links to manuals for about everything you need to know.
