Wow, the communist/fascist playbook. Throw the things of which you are guilty onto your political/ideological opponent first, before they can point out it is you. Smear them quickly so that you either put them on the defensive or at least sow confusion when they (rightfully) level the charges against you. Milley is a good fascist.

If this guy is representative of most of our military leaders we are in deep $hit.
I hope very soon Trump will reveal what went on in his inner circle after the election.
This will not end well

I agree 100%.

IF this reporting is accurate, then milley has firmly sided with the liberal fascists who wish to strip us of our freedoms and impose their marxist political agenda on us.

In this case, milley is comparable to the nazis, Musolini's Italians, and Imperial Japan. Therefore, when milley says "we," I take that as his being on the Axis side of things, and that us Trump supporters are the US/British Allies who overthrew this dictatorial oppression. So, yes milley, we Trump supporters are EXACTLY the sort of people 'you' fought in WWII.

Of course, that is probably not how milley imagined it. . .

"We're the guys with the guns" said it all. Once we disarm the population and have our way with them is what he thinks.

I would say that the majority of the officers are not necessarily a product of Leftist indoctrination but, more a product of corporate executive influence where decision making and opinions are more about getting along with the zeitgeist, essentially blowing in the wind where majority opinions lay, rather than taking a stand. We've seen the last decade plus, news media and entertainment industries have worked VERY hard to shape public opinions, points-of-view and dictate linguistic patterns amongst the general public, particularly around politics and social topics. The military to their credit has shielded themselves from this sea change however, the bulwark can only last so long.

Gen Milley try as he might, appears to be accommodating dominant political thought and language around The Beltway while attempting to be apolitical. Unfortunately, his attempt at being apolitical, is coming across as clueless at best, if anything the language games the Left likes to play has entrapped him. He's allowed the Left to play him, based on his testimony any and all conservative thought and actions are analogous to Nazi/white supremacy points of view. He should've resigned long ago.

How, exactly, can denigrating EVERYONE who voted for President Trump be defined as being 'apolitical?'. . .

Taking a stand against an entire political party/demographic is nothing BUT a political statement.

Opening segment on Tucker Carlson last night: "Why is Mark Milley still in command of US military?"

https://video.foxnews.com/v/62...498001#sp=show-clips

Milley is delusional and dangerous! He should be fired as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, removed from the US Military/Pentagon altogether, and prosecuted! Mad

Why has Mark Milley NOT been charged with violating his oath? Well...maybe “technically” he hasn’t?

Just think! We have about three & a half more years of this woke shit to put up with. Everyone in the administration seems to be trying to out-stupid each other, and it's not going to turn out well for the country.

Normally I'd say he's just saying this crap to get his next 2 year appointment, so he gets the usual 4 year hitch at his current position... But, some of the other things we're hearing make me not believe that, at all.

He made a lot of bad personnel choices. But I liken it to being the star player on a sports team and not knowing that some of your team's coaches, your team mates, the referees, the commentators are also working for the opposing team.

One can only imagine how much more good he could have accomplished without the strong head winds he faced.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Yep. And further, if the man had an ounce of integrity, he'd keep his mouth shut and his comments to himself knowing his role in the overall scheme of things. But alas, he's like every other outspoken liberal I've ever met. He has twice the mouth, half the brain, and zero integrity or class.

Eight years of Obama was a long time. General officers and 0-6s on the fast track who were patriots and loyal to their oath saw the handwriting on the wall and either retired or were culled. Trump didn't have a very good candidate pool to choose from after that.

The biggest threat to Single Party Democrat/Neo-Marxist/Tech-Media-Fascist control of the USA actually IS white Trump supporters, with increasingly more Hispanics joining the ranks. So naturally they call us terrorists because we can and will resist the planned destruction of the Constitution and our free market system.

No doubt these people would turn on citizens of this country if directed to and the proper label applied. They are no better than ANTIFA with a much better budget.

Like I pointed out, he thinks he is but, in fact he tossed half the country into the big bowl of bigotry when Gaetz and others questioned his ideas on CRT and DEI curriculum. He thinks he's standing apart from all the political talk, when in fact, he's stepped right into it

I'd be interested in seeing the statistics for retirements over...say...the last 10 years.

I suspect a lot of senior enlisted (and quite probably mid-grade officers) are fed up with this horseshit and bailing.

Data on first and second reenlistments might be illuminating as well.
