I’ll call and cover the estimated bill.

David, I believe we can get your kittah vetted for you. Since you obviously care for this cat, it should be inside where it is not subject to attacks from other cats or other dangers. Is it possible for you to make this in indoor kitty?

If it is not already spayed/neutered, that should be a priority as well as getting it vaccinated for common feline illnesses.

Plenty of people here have offered to help and I will as well. Let us know what vet you would like to use and those who want to help can call there and put funds on account for his care and treatment.

Good morning and I thank you. Both of the boys were fixed by their previous owner. She left them behind when she moved away. I used to see Tiger sleeping on the window sill in the sun. He is a outdoor kitty now. We have lots of rain here again so he may be hiding under the front porch. I will contact Noah's Arc and see if I can bring him there.

He is still licking them some. I read not to use peroxide as it slows down healing. As for the antibiotics the neighbor gave me, they were going to give the same to Tiger. I have 6 doses left and feel like that will finish any infection. My Tiger is laying down now so shortly I will give him a pill. I thank all you kind souls for offering to help with my little friend. He means a lot to me. My kitty. He's my Tiger.

So happy to hear that he is improving! You had me worried as I don't like cats... I ADORE THEM!!! Big Grin

Sounds like another cat attack, and that cat has Tiger's number. Time for him, and maybe your other cat, to spend nights inside, at least until the attacker loses interest. Tonight is not too soon to bring them in!

Don't forget who's in charge of their best interests, either. As much as he may dislike indoor life, he needs it.

Couldn't possibly agree more! I once had a cat that roamed outdoors whenever I was home, and he was constantly getting infections from scrapping with other cats, requiring vet visits most every time. After several years of this I made him an indoor-only cat, and he was MUCH healthier, and once he got used to it, much happier also! Ever since that event back in the early 1980s, ALL of my cats have been indoor only.

Much as I would like to bring Tiger back into the house, this place is a destroyed inside mess with a horders 2 decade mess piled up inside. We've taken 44 raccoons, 17 possums and a number of feral cats off the property. I caught another female feral last night. She was rain soaked when I opened the trap. She will never go in again. I know which male cat is attacking Tiger and his brother. I will catch him. Doing kitty guard duty t.his evening. He is sleeping now. His wounds are much smaller than yesterday. He is still moving slowly but a little better. He was across the street in the rain most of the day. He goes there under the neighbors paint company Sprinter vans. He's my little Hobo kitty.

Folks, I may have to ask for your help should I need to take Tiger in to the Vet. He has been attacked around 6 times by the large black male and once by a large female feral which has kittens. That large black cat is going to catch one if I can get him near by. Tiger has either a bad sprained or torn ligament in his right rear foot and leg. That foot is swelled for over 2 days now and is over twice the size of his left foot. He is in pain and moves very little on 3 legs. I am trying my best with Epsom salts but he don't like being messed with. I think he was injured trying to get away from the black POS and that fight lasted long. I couldn't locate him from the sound. Don't believe this is a bite wound but perhaps a sprain or torn ligaments. He is laying down here for a while now but getting locked up this evening. If I have to take him to see the kitty Doc, I will ask you for help here. I think a day or 2 rest will show if the swelling goes down.

I can't tell today what Tigers injury is but, his right back foot is 3 times the size it should be. He cannot touch it to the ground. I managed to hold him and get that foot in warm water and Epsom salt but so briefly. I had tears in my eyes trying to help him. Just now, he was living here on the porch, I noticed a wet spot on the carpet under his foot. He is leaking light red blood and if there is any infection, I hope that comes out too. His toes are spread very far apart from the swelling. I would like your help to take Tiger into Noah's Arc Monday. He needs treatment by a Doctor.

Anyone with knowledge of kitty paw injury have an idea what I might do to relieve his pain and swelling ? Not sure if I should use peroxide.

I think he needs antibiotics and the correct ones from a vet.
And the sooner the better. Cats mask their pain as its a sign of weakness.

Sounds to me like the humane thing would be to keep him inside, being as he keeps getting mangled.

Today he's been sleeping a lot on his back so that foot cannot touch anything. He has only eaten a few of his kitty treats in over 2 days now. Drank very little water.

I do the best I can here for him. I don't own this place. I can keep him inside some. Perhaps a locked dog crate at night.
