I thought the funniest items were stealing another cat's toy, and the sock...then going back for the matching sock. Hmm, maybe the dryer isn't the only reason for missing socks. Wink

My neighbor had her dog show up with a bra in his mouth, nobody ever posted losing or missing one.

We had a cat who would leave gifts at the Mrs. car door. Parts of dead animals mostly.

My Moms cat brought her a live mouse once.....never laughed so hard in my life.

Our indoor cat once stole a cheap Zebra click-button-type ballpoint pen from the kitchen counter. She hid it somewhere only she knew, and gave it back to us, once piece at a time, over the course of a couple of months. Spring, ink cartridge, top, push button, and barrel, all disassembled and returned.

Our outdoor cat brought me a chipmunk she had recently caught/killed one morning. When I didn't take it inside, she sat and ate it right in front of me. An equally disturbing and fascinating thing to watch. Big Grin

Yeah, we have one that loves leaving little mousies outside the front door on the porch. Very proud of herself.

Nothing as cute as yours, though.

But if all the things in this world that are not a cat are owned by the cat collective, is it stealing?

One of my kitties came into my house with a live cicada in its mouth.
The thing was buzzing like mad.

Because: it belonged to the lumberjack at the other end of your street.
