Good morning.
I'm looking to buy a quality belt. There was a discussion on this board some time ago...but I can't seem to find it. Can someone help me with that? And I seem to remember that a member here made high quality belts and they had a website. Does someone have a link to that?
Thank you.

Huge Armour Belt fan. Every one of my daily wear belts (save one) is an Armour Belt. Great for gun belts and just general wear.

Have 2 Armour Belts...I won't buy any other belt, only buy Mike's.

He's a stand up guy who makes excellent belts.

Bullhide Belts also make a decent every day wear gun belt. Good price and they ship immediately. It's what I currently carry my gun on the most often.

I also have one of their hippo skin belts that I wear when I'm not carrying, i.e. when I'm out of the country or in Jersey.

Armour Belts is where it's at.

I have a 1.5" and 1.25" dress belt.

While you might wait, it's a short wait, it was around a week or so for me. He turns them around pretty quick for most belts.

The armour belts are great (I have 2), but keep in mind they are thick. When I wear a t-shirt, the belt sticks out, and it looks like I am wearing a harness around my waist.

Before that I had a wilderness instructor belt, which was great (although a little pricy for what it is).

Little tip here, buy one of his dress belts (in whatever width you like) with the internal stiffener. I do this on all my Armour Belts now and it results in a much thinner belt that will still hold up the heaviest EDC rig.
