Good one!
Consider it stolen.

And great season Hoosiers…loved every moment of it. Clearly the best team. Congrats.

Don't be fooled by this stuff people. I have a great friend, smart guy, who also believes anything he sees posted on FB and attributed with some fake credence to the speaker is real. Hint - if the only hits for a combo of the first few sentences is FB, that might tell you something.

Yeah, I read this and thought “When did Cignetti say this?… and why haven’t I heard about it?”
It does sound like an AI-generated monologue, doesn’t it?
Over the last half of the season, IU’s opponents adopted a “hit Mendoza as often as we can” game plan.
Ohio State flattened Mendoza on the first play from scrimmage… and that “helmet to chin” attack by Miami was textbook targeting. Yet, the referees didn’t see it. That Miami kid should have been sent to the locker room right there and then.

And.......this morning little brother Alberto Mendoza is in the portal, that didn't take long. IU took a QB in the portal, Hoover from TCU, but he only has 1 year of eligibility. I was hoping little brother Mendoza would stick around, he will just be a sophomore next year. I don't know what team is going to give him guaranteed start time.
And he's gone.... 8 hours later Alberto Mendoza has transferred to Georgia Tech. I'd have like to see him sit on the bench for his sophomore year, but he wants to play and I can understand that (or GT just gave him a huge pile of $).
I don’t think we gave him a
huge pile of money (I’m sure he got some because name recognition alone will drive up some fan interest) but I’m sure he didn’t wanna play in the shadow of his brother. Be his own man somewhere.
He does have some exp in mop up duty but it isn’t enormous. The two already in the QB room and the incoming freshman aren’t going down without a fight.
The spring game will be interesting to watch.

Glynn863I wish the younger Mendoza well.
The head coach at GT is from the town that I currently live in, and several people here that I know had children who went to school with him and remember him quite well.
GT has had a good program so far under his leadership, and perhaps Mendoza will get an opportunity to contribute.
JMHO.
