No pics., But what I love about summer is, warm sunny days, flowers in bloom. A slower schedule, more down time. Road trips, smell of fresh cut grass. Warm nights setting out under the stars, fireflies, cold beer and BBQ with good friends. The sound of tree frogs, cricket and Cicadas. Oh, and the fairer sex in short shorts, tiny mini skirts... Some of the better things in life. ARman

I'll admit mine stretches from spring through fall. But I love the outdoor smells of summer. The earthy smells when the ground thaws, the smell of (someone else) mowing grass. Charcoal lighter fluid from the backyards of neighbors as I'm out for a run. Winter is my arch nemesis in so many ways. But the most subtle and insidious is that there really is no smell to the outdoors. Sounds are somewhat the same. I was once on a call with a company rep for a product we used. It was February and I heard birds chirping in the background. I was jealous. Angry even -- only somewhat in jest. Summer gives it all back. For a while...

That’s a really nice doggy pool! I’d be tempted to join in on the fun. __________________ Member NRA Member NYSRPA

bigger government = smaller citizen |
We stay at a house on Lake Michigan every summer with my mom and all of my siblings and the kids. A storm pushed through as soon as we arrived. It was incredibly dark and stormy after this hit us. Watching storms roll in over vast bodies of water is something to behold. “The urge to save humanity is almost always only a false-face for the urge to rule it.”—H.L. Mencken

Is someone going to post who/where she is? A gun in the hand is worth more than ten policemen on the phone. The American Revolution was carried out by a group of gun toting religious zealots.
