For me Rainier cherries are near the top of the list. A simple pleasure from something so tasty.

I don't have a pic handy, but right now we're starting to get Cunningham Peaches from Palisade CO. They're probably the best peaches I've ever had. We buy several boxes, at least, every year.

Since you're in CO I assume you might be familiar with them.

And again, no pic handy, sorry, but it's just about time for the Hatch Chile Peppers to arrive on the market. Good stuff!

This is a great time of the year for wonderful tasty fruits and vegetables, love it.

I wish I could still eat them. I live within sight of Rainier and there’s roadside stands that sell the best I’ve ever had. But stonefruit makes my mouth and throat itch and gives me coughing fits now, so I guess I’ve developed an allergy. Apricots, too. Cherries and apricots used to be my favorite. Totally sucks. Frown

On the bright side, I’ve got a few spots I take my son to where we have a breathtaking view of Rainier and he plays while I enjoy the view. So I have that going for me, which is nice.

I never thought I'd be one of "those guys," but, ever since retiring, now that I have the time for it, I truly enjoy working on making the lawn beautiful.

Everything. I love everything about summer. Sun, long days, heat, blue skies, going to the water, baseball, camping, and yes, girls in short shorts and tops.

Yup, flowers. With the cold, wet Spring I wasn't at all sure they would do well this year, but they seem happy.
