Play a few rounds of Galaga, four songs for a dollar in the juke box. That red plastic glass just tasted different. _____________________________________________ I may be a bad person, but at least I use my turn signal.

Thank you Very little |
Putt Putt! To the Pizza Hut! Drank lots of soda from those Red glasses and ate a ton of pizza from the hut, it was THE place to get a pie until Dominos hit the streets. Once you could get a pizza delivered fast to your dorm the world changed.. Then again, it wasn't Joe B's pizza and garlic bread good...

Yep, I miss ours. Had a great salad bar. Sadly is now a pot shop, named the Bud Hut. Mike You can run, but you cannot hide. If you won't stand behind our troops, feel free to stand in front of them.

When a kid, growing up in the south, Pizza Hut was a rare treat for us. At the time, I thought it was the best pizza ever. Frozen pizza sucked back then. That picture brought back some memories Then, I arrived in PA where family took us to a local pizza shop run by an Italian family. That killed any interest in Pizza Hut, or any other delivered place. --Tom The right of self preservation, in turn, was understood as the right to defend oneself against attacks by lawless individuals, or, if absolutely necessary, to resist and throw off a tyrannical government.

The Pizza Hut in the area I used to work in still had the buffet a few years ago. I try to stop by there every now and then.

When I worked in Loop area (Chicago) we would go to the original location of Pizzeria Uno for lunch couple times a month. Good stuff! הרחפת שלי מלאה בצלופחים

The Pizza Hut in my birthplace town still is a real, sit down to eat place like back in the day. Locally, it's just delivery or take out and if you do delivery...well, with that charge and tax and a tip it almost doubles the price of a medium pizza. Sometimes I miss the '80s so bad.

Our only one moved across the street in a small subway sized location and they demolished the iconic roof building, and built a Dutch Bros in it's place.

Staring back from the abyss |
Other than a local saloon, Pizza Hut was the only place to get pizza in my little town back in the early 70s. It was a real treat. Ours had pasta dishes as well as pizza and I really liked those too. This message has been edited. Ours like this is now a used car lot. Growing up in the 80s was the best. My kids are missing out. There are 3 kinds of people, those that understand numbers and those that don't.

Now just fill that plastic tumbler with beer, add a pitcher of beer and a thinner crust pizza, and you would have Me & Ed’s Pizza on Beach Blvd in Stanton, mid 70’s. My friend and I would always hit the place nearly every Friday afternoon after shooting at the Long Beach Police Range in our early careers. Good pizza. Good times.

always with a hat or sunscreen |
Indeed! Best pizza back in the day was a shop next to the State Police station in Oneida NY. Their building had a large clear pipe extending through the roof where you could see pizza dough being tossed. They baked in stone ovens and the result was served with corn meal still under the bottom to retard any sticking. Stuff was incredible so driving east on Rt 5 from Fayetteville the 19 or so miles was never viewed as a problem. There are a few left and some coming back. They are called Pizza Hut Classics I believe. It was a great time and place. Our local one still does Book It. Where you read to get a free pizza. We had a cool button as a kid and every book you read you got a star sticker to put on the button. ———————————————— The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad. If we got each other, and that's all we have. I will be your brother, and I'll hold your hand. You should know I'll be there for you!

I can’t even guess how many pies I delivered for them. It was a lot of fun!

Better start reading your books to get your stickers on your "Book It!" pin for your own personal pan pizza! I can hear the Def Leppard on the jukebox in that pic.
