A must-have kitchen/grill tool, IMO.

When cooking a lot of different things (but especially meat), it's best to cook to a certain temperature, not time/color/etc. And in order to be able to cook to temperature, you need a good probe thermometer. The Thermapen is one of the best.

I also have the Thermoworks Dot for longer temperature reads in the kitchen, and a Fireboard with both ambient and insertion probes for use on the smoker.
