Q, I readily admit to having my days of being pissed at life. But eternally pissed? Not at all. Instead, I’m quite joyful about life eternally. I truly hope you understand the distinction.

Thanks.

Just my hyperbole. Pretty sure you're not eternally pissed off. Merry Christmas. Cool

I wasn’t bitching about the payment of bonuses. I was bitching about the self-boasting by management of its generosity.

If you feel the need to publicize your charity, you should wonder as to what truly prompted your charity.

Well with all the bashing of "EVIL COMPANIES" and "GREEDY OWNERS", you know the ones who have a large part in making it possible for people to have jobs... I'm not surprised they disclosed it...

Not to mention it really isn't 'charity', it's a 'bonus', much like any other type of compensation - so it's good to attract quality employees... ones who aren't eternally pissed. Wink

What a great gesture. Nice to know there are some companies that can and will do that.

I'd prefer to get the bonus & pay the tax on it, rather than not get the bonus at all.

FWIW, I wouldn't mind paying a million dollars a year in taxes. It would mean I made the amount of money which would warrant it.

Same here. You always have people who would win the lottery and only bitch about the taxes.

Ha - reminds me of Hadley in Shawshank Redemption bitching about taxes on his wifes recent inheritance .
