Meh. Zone defense in the NBA? I quit watching once they changed the rules to college ball. Zone, no hand checking....they compare this guy to MJ, who got assaulted going into the lane. MJ’s years, the game was physical, hard, it’s cream puff today.

Jordan got his share of gimmies from the refs over his career.

I dislike both players, but championship comparisons are ridiculous. Teams nowadays are incredibly more even.
Jordan had to beat 2-3 teams each year, and he had a heck of a supporting cast. Lebron has basically had a collection of misfits.

This. James is one hell of a player, an all-timer, top-10 minimum...and i'm a Warrior's fan. That said, I don't care for his public commentary or, his over-meddlesomeness when it comes to 'his brand'. To his credit, he's not a thug and best of my knowledge, never been arrested. Much of 'his brand' is a result of ESPN playing king-maker and eagerly documenting and egging-on, 'the greatest ever' conversation.
Agreed. I think MJ gave us the likes of Kobe and LeBron with basketball income taking a distant second to their brand.
While I'm not a LeBron fan, to say he's overrated is a bit naive. Statistically he's up there with the best of them. Many of the greats were a missed call or basket from losing a championship.
And from what I can gather, he seems to be a normal millionaire off the court.

With dives like that he looks like he belongs on a soccer field.

Sure he did. He was a competitive freak of nature and worked the system to any competitive advantage he could gain.
But he paid for it. Double and triple teams most of his career. Brutal fouls that would get two foul line shots that would get ejections today.
Forget MJ. Yesterday’s game was way more physical and hardcore. Today’s game is soft in comparison. I miss the Pistons, the Celtics, the Bulls, the Knicks. You knew the playoffs were gonna be a knock down slug fest. Today you can’t even hand check and they play zone. This game today is so soft that I cannot compare any players today to those hard decades where basketball was a night and day difference compared to today.

No, no he didn’t. The bulls did and he was a big part of it, but he like any other player on a team, can’t do it alone. And Jordan had some really stellar players surrounding him.

Best moment in Lebron's NBA career.
Don't care for the NBA's unwatchable style of play. It's like the "attitude era" of the WWF.
I'll watch when it's great. So... Magic/Bird & then Jordan. Waiting for the next great iteration.
