r0gueGood lord!... I think maybe that other dog best get his biscuits in a closed room from now on. Particularly if there are kids around.

The big dog does get his food and treats by himself. He actually really loves his 4 people but nobody else. Here is Max

46and2Oh damn, poor Doug. That's hard to look at. Pet the poor fella for me.
But nine dogs/rescues? Nine...? C'mon now, they aren't shoes/toys/chotskys to be collected.
Unless you're a vet, breeder, professional, farmer or some such, nine dogs seems quite, well, excessive...
Respectfully, I hope you all reconsider such things moving forward, and I wish Doug a speedy recovery.

NframeWell, we are down from 12....

My wife is a vet and we're way out in the country with a bit of land and no neighbors.
If the Assholes out here wouldn't just drop off the critters and leave 'em, I'd only have 2 or 3 dogs.

jimmy123xI know this is a very tough decision. But, I'd highly consider putting the big dog down. That bite that Doug got wasn't a playful nip or dogs playing around, and if the same dog decides a kid is too close to him or his treat and goes off the handle again.......I just wouldn't trust him after that incident.....
I hope Doug gets better soon, he looks like a good dog.
