He is in shock and at the vet right now over night

His left shoulder is pretty bloody too and will also need a bit of surgery

I rescued Doug from a drug house down the road about 6 years ago. He and one of our other dogs had a dispute on a biscuit. This happened in about a minute. Frown

Just when I thought things were going well and I could look forward to getting another toy.

Dang! Poor Doug. That's a whole lotta damage over a biscuit. Hope he heals up quick.

I think he was too traumatized or starting to feel shock because he didn’t want any food or cookie. He is on IV fluids and some pain meds now at the clinic.

The other dog is a 100+ pound Rotti Burmese Mtn.Dog mix. Another of our 9 rescue dogs. Max only loves his 4 people in the family. His only issue was some hair in his teeth.
My oldest son was the only one home just as it happened. The dogs are not supposed to be together but things happen. So we are dealing with it.

He is home and healing Drains in the bites and a bit of the ear removed. Now with a bit of rest and care at home he is doing pretty well. Good meds and lots of attention.
