Just like every other urban core major city around the country. The City of Chicago has managed to thoroughly destroy the great State of Illinois. The City of St. Louis is attempting to do the same to Missouri through a group called "Together We're Better" attempting to merge the City and County which would have the same effect. The new City/County would be overwhelmingly liberal and would dominate State politics. "Some things are apparent. Look at the state's national election results by county for the last several decades. Not only are all the largest cities blue, but practically the entire Rio Grande border. This really started taking hold in the eighties.  Edited to add a better map. I often wonder what it would look like sans voter fraud. | |||

The map doesnt tell a fair story, while Harris county is blue per presidential election votes, it is governed and run a Republican judge(basically the mayor of harris county) and most county wide elections go red. While Houston may be fucked up and in debt, fire department retirement funds screwed, and all the usual democrat problems the county is in great shape. There will be whores, tits and sex. | |||
