No longer able to go camping. All I'd like is a power unit to handle outages that last no more than 6-8 hours at home for my Resmed 10. I don't see anything mentioned in the thread that isn't overkill for such a need. Suggestions? I looked at cpap specific backup power supplies. Typically, they provide for 2- or 3-night's sleep. When I realized I could buy 2 Ecoflow Rivers for less than one cpap battery, that's what I did. I don't fly or travel, so the battery is not needed. One unit is used as cpap power backup and the second backs up electronics (computer, phone, security system etc.) They stay plugged in and charged and automatically take over during an outage. Bluetti, Jackery, and others make similar small units, I went with Ecoflow for the price at the time. Unit is about the size of a 2-slice toaster. ____________ Pace

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Nope. I consider that overkill. Don't need a unit that will power a CPAP for 3 days. The search continues. Certifiable member of the gun toting, septuagenarian, bucket list workin', crazed retiree, bald is beautiful club! USN (RET), COTEP #192

Bluetti X60 This is the answer to your problem. I just bought one and used it camping. My AirMini used 8% power a day. It’s specifically designed to run a CPAP machine. Its output is entirely DC and it comes with every possible CPAP adapter cord (about 10). It can run a full size machine for about a week. I had been looking for one for years. Not as practical as it has no AC output, but it is literally built to do what you describe. _________________________ "Age does not bring wisdom. Multi purpose. Jump starter, air compressor, 12 volt outlets and 110 volt AC power outlets, built in light. LINK Schumacher do it all. .

Earlier in this thread, I posted a CPAP battery that is $136, compact enough for airline travel, and lasts 10 hours. Ego is the anesthesia that deadens the pain of stupidity DISCLAIMER: These are the author's own personal views and do not represent the views of the author's employer.

bald1 - I think the specs for your CPAP device calls for backup power supplies with a "pure sine wave" output, meaning it must have signal conditioning circuitry. Medical devices can be sensitive. This APC BR1500MS2 backup power supply probably fits the bill: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GRY1W93 ______________________________________________________________ Common sense is no longer simply uncommon. Most recent reviews reflect battery life longevity issues. Perhaps a change in manufacturer/supplier. Gives me cause for pause. Certifiable member of the gun toting, septuagenarian, bucket list workin', crazed retiree, bald is beautiful club! USN (RET), COTEP #192

My coworker has used his for both international flights and camping. It's been reliable, and it worked great for me sleeping on long international flights. I took advantage of the Black Friday sale and bought myself one. To be fair, nothing prevents morons from buying something and leaving a negative review. Re-read the reviews with this additional knowledge: TSA has a maximum size. If you don't care about TSA, they make one with 1.8x larger battery for $8 more . So, apparently the AC inverter on my Ecoflow River 2 Pro (discontinued), bought 4/21, has shit the bed, past warranty. So, what do I do? Go on Amazon and get a Delta 2 that's 45% off. Overkill for a cpap for sure but it can handle 500w solar over my 200w on the River. I also had a Bluetti EB3A replaced under warranty because the the cigarette DC out is limited to 12v instead of 13.8v (regulated) like everyone else has. Lots of options out there, I just decided Ecoflow was worth it. It's now LiFePO now which is better than Li ion.

Overkill for occasional use, but great deal right now on the DJI Power 1000 at $379. 1024wh lithium, claims 10 year/4000 cycle lifespan. Accepts up to 800w solar input, charges 0-100% in 70 minutes from AC, 2200w output. Big price cut on Amazon, mine arrived a couple days ago. Other similar sized units run in the $600-$700 range. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CZ5RYBWW What part of "...Shall not be infringed" don't you understand???

^ that seems like a good deal. I'm too used to the XT60 to MC4 solar charging. Most have some sort of jack in or Anderson plug it seems. Your link shows an adapter is needed?. So, DJI is now into generators to support their drone enterprise, makes sense. My River 2 pro has 3 AC Outlets and the Delta 2 I'm getting has 6. Some cheaper models don't support charging and use at the same time (similar to UPS). But overall, build quality and technology has improved over the last few years. The batteries will probably outlast the hardware in most cases.
