If you don’t mind I like recommendations on a battle belt. I had my heart set on a Bison Belt by Ferro Concepts, but they are constantly out of stock on most of their items. I have a Slingster sling for my AR, a Slickster plate carrier so I was hoping to stick with them, but time is a wasting. I’m ordering a Safariland AlS/QLS system for my P226 and I’ll need a belt to hang it in. You thoughts and experiences are appreciated.

Wilder Tactical is making the best belts right now. I have worn one through several courses. I retired my HSGI when I got the Wilder Tactical minimalist system. Minimalist Pad Minimalist Belt "You can avoid reality, but you cannot avoid the consequences of avoiding reality." Ayn Rand

I put together an HSGI Belt earlier this year and I'm very pleased with it. - COBRA 1.75" Rigger Belt w/ Interior Loop & NO D-Ring --> https://www.highspeedgear.com/...b0-31cv0-31id0-31idv - Laser Slim-Grip® Padded / Slotted Belt --> https://www.highspeedgear.com/33slb I wanted a 'Go Belt' for when I needed a Holstered Weapon on me Right Now! Among other gear, it sports a Safariland QLS System Holster and does exactly what I need it to do! It should be noted that the location of the 'hook' and 'loop' material on this belt system is the opposite of many other belts. The 'hook' material is on the inside channel of the padded belt and the loop material is on the inside of the Rigger Belt. I ran a metal yardstick through the padded belt channel to simplify making adjustments during the fitment process and got everything set up EXACTLY the way I wanted it. If you can find everything you need, you wont be disapppionted! ____________________________________________________________ If Some is Good, and More is Better.....then Too Much, is Just Enough !! First Spear padded low profile sleeve, with their AGB belt, and Velcro inner base belt. It works with Molle or belt mounted holsters/carriers. It’s comfortable and stays in place when used with the Velcro inner belt. Very quick and easy on/off. Completely modular and will cover about anything you could want belts for. https://www.first-spear.com/pa...500-15-00267-5001-02 https://www.first-spear.com/as...500-15-00004-0001-02 https://www.first-spear.com/ba...500-15-00541-0001-02

I'm about to start wearing a Grey Ghost UGF quite a bit so I'll report back when I have some real knowledge. Quality seems to be there though it is two rows high and not three. There are probably ups and downs to that.

I'm currently using Crye's Modular Rigger's Belt with Safariland holster/mount. I was using Velocity Systems Operator Utility Belt, still a good belt but, I'm liking the new modular design trend. Ronin Tactics Senshi and AWS' Lab Belt were my finalists prior to going with Crye. Blue Force Gear recently came out with their new Molle Minus belt and AWS has their SMU Operator Composite Molle Belt to add to the variety.

My warbelt has a mix of makers. Trex Arms - inner and outer belt, med pouch, dump pouch, Ragarok light bearing holster. Esstac kiwi pistol and rifle mag pouches. Esee Izula on there as well. Edit: I just looked on Trex arms and everything is out of stock I would figure out what ya want then start watching arf.com for used gear or post a WTB there or even here you might get lucky. Same here: 68J/aircraft armament on Cobras, '91 to '92. I picked up one of these last year and like it so far while trying it out a bit. https://www.blueforcegear.com/molleminus-belt I still need the pouches I plan to attach to it, but I have a holster so far. Using an ODIN belt currently, when used with the inner belt it is rock solid. https://skdtac.com/raptor-tact...-odin-belt-mark-iii/ My belt set up is similar to David W's...except I am using bladetech pouches, USMC bayonet and a TQ carrier in front.

I've got a VTAC Skirmish belt and an RDR Enhanced Instructor belt. Both are great. The RDR is a much more minimalist belt and thus it's not quite as easy to just MOLLE things on since there's less real estate. I use mostly Tek Lok with it, but the belt/inner belt thickness is at the bleeding edge of what a Tek Lok can handle, so you need to use the actual lock slides to be sure. The VTAC Skirmish belt is definitely not too big, and I'm not a huge guy. I've not had any mobility problems with it getting up from prone, etc. or bending around cover. ---------------------------- Chuck Norris put the laughter in "manslaughter" Educating the youth of America, one declension at a time.
