Came across this Raptor leaving the hospital this morning.

Hadn't seen this version of a Raptor yet. Appears they start at around $230k.

A little too rich for my blood, but would love to take one for a spin, lol

$230,000 and they couldn't even splurge on coating the rear wheel wells?

Am I the only one who thinks that this looks shitty or as if they aren't through building it yet?

Enough to buy a tiny house for a Ford with some dressing? Nope.

Does this thing actually have some real upgrades? For nearly a quarter mil, it better blow me at stop lights.

If someone is going to buy that, they would have to be drinking first.

They don't do much beyond upping the horsepower and doing some cosmetic work. Otherwise, it's still a factory Ford Raptor. The 6x6 VelociRaptor they used to do was bonkers, though.

I didn't realize Hennessey was still in business. I thought they were toast when it came out a couple years back that they stealing downpayments and not delivering cars, were ponzi scheming builds (i.e. your money didn't build your car but instead it built the car in front of you, and the next sucker's money built your car), etc.

I’ll keep my $1100 1986 F150 that can’t do 70 uphill, thanks. At least I don’t need to lock the doors (though I do and my best friend make fun of me for it). My truck can do (2WD) truck things, slowly, and I saved it from being crushed. I get more comments/compliments on my rusty, crappy paint old blue pickup than my pristine 2006 BMW Z4 MRoadster. Both make me very happy driving them, but in very different ways. The roadster is effortlessly fast, and carves corners like a surgeon’s scalpel. The F150 is like a pry bar, it will get it done, but with some slips. (I’d say it was a brute, but it doesn’t have enough power to be a brute!). Such different driving experiences, but both make me smile.

I saw one a few weeks back, interesting that it was in a hospital parking lot, too. Maybe they're best suited for doctors with a lot of $$. The one I saw had two spares mounted with the bed racks. There was another Raptor next to it but not as built up.

I've gotta lock the doors to keep them pranksters out (think grumpy old men)

Same. Thieves. And the truck is stupid. Just get a regular Raptor. Even the Raptor is silly if we’re honest. 99% will never use whatever capability it has. Reality is the Raptor is a sand dunes truck and that’s it. I do off road riding and nobody has a fancy $100k big ass truck out there. MX, SXS, some older resto-mod Jeeps and Tacomas. Nobody is running big ass trucks. They would just get scratched up, dinged up, etc. Fucking city truck is all that thing is. And at $230k, that money would be better spent getting a dick elongation surgery vs. compensating for a small one.
