A fella asked me about my Sig Forum bumper sticker and he started talking about his t-38 and his buddy's pr23 and guns he used to have but sold. I'd never heard of a single model that he mentioned. He was in his 50's. I got to wondering about the Sigs you don't discuss here. Are there a bunch of models that no one has, Maybe this guy was yanking my master key. The models I spoke of above are not what he spoke of but they might as well have been. Safety, Situational Awareness and proficiency. It gets a little chatter around here. Mainly discussing converting the .40 to 10mm. I have one and an extra brand new barrel that someday I’ll get reamed to 10mm. Have a whole slew of mags too that I’ll convert once I get the barrel done. ———————————————— The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad. If we got each other, and that's all we have. I still have mine and as long as I run CCI stingers or mini-mag I have had no problems I have even shot a few mags of standard without an issue.

The only Sig (I dont consider the Skeeter to be a true Sig) I would hesitate to own would be a P224 in 40S&W. Not much chatter here on SF about the 224 which indicates its popularity. And that said, I might try one if I could get it cheap enough. End of Earth: 2 Miles Upper Peninsula: 4 Miles

We talk about the Trailside once in a while. While not a Sig, SIG imported them. I've run across folks that reference model numbers I've never heard of before most of the time they have misrememberd. Though I am still looking for a barrel 34 pistol.

Another one nobody ever talks about is the Sig SHR 970. Such a great rifle. I have one in .270 that is my deer rifle and it is an absolute treat!! Local shop has one in .300 win mag that they have had for years but need way too much money for it.
Yup, have one of those too. ———————————————— The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad. If we got each other, and that's all we have. I will be your brother, and I'll hold your hand. You should know I'll be there for you!

IIRC there were some concerns about that gun in .40...improperly sprung or issues with dwell time or something like that. I'd really like to try a 9mm version though...I think of it kind of like the CZ Rami, but a Sig.

I tried to find a SHR when I bought my 270 Also couldn't find a decent deal on the Sauer 101 Bought a Tikka instead. Both the SHR & 101 are still on the wishlist. The Enemy's gate is down.

Wait, what? |
I have one in .308; it is an outstanding shooter- shot circles around my @1990 Remington 700 heavy barrel Varmint that I sold as superfluous since the 970 had so much more going for it. “Remember to get vaccinated or a vaccinated person might get sick from a virus they got vaccinated against because you’re not vaccinated.” - author unknown

Others are going to have more details than what I understand. SIG Sauer P220 was released in 1975. SIG, a Swiss Company developed it and partnered with J.P. Sauer & Sohn, a German company to build it. Then in 1976, SIG bought J.P. Sauer & Sohn and the new company was called SIG Sauer GmbH, based in Germany. In the mid 1850s, SIG made wagon wheels before they made firearms. J.P. Sauer started making firearms in the mid 1700's and I don't know if they started as a gun maker or like SIG kinda fell into that industry? I've been asked about firearms made by these independent companies before SIG Sauer existed. Each of these companies made a lot of firearms we don't talk about. However, this forum has many extremely knowledgeable people. Anyone with a desire to talk about a firearm made by SIG, J.P. Sauer, Sig Sauer, or any other manufacture would be welcome to do so. To be honest, what I really want to know is where did you get the SigForum Bumper Sticker??? I have SigForum coins, but I didn't get a Bumper Sticker when I signed the SigForum Waiver? .

Regarding the bumper stickers, a few years ago, one of our members made a limited run, with para's approval, and karma'd a bunch off here. I was lucky to receive one.
