Now cordless drills…

“Police have arrested a teenage boy after a 38-year-old woman was attacked with a cordless drill in a suspected homophobic assault.

The victim suffered a 'very serious' head injury and is in a critical but stable condition in hospital, police said…”

what we have here... is failure to communicate
He didnt have anything called rights where he lived, and he mistakenly thought he did, being as the internet shows how great America is. He was just confused as to where he was, as he thought he was a person. But, being in a communist/socialist country he is now finally known to the public as what the government knows him by. The number issued once in prison

Was he arrested because he was on bail AND had the peeler

Is it illegal to have a potato peeler in your pocket
or
did he just happen to have a potato peeler, and do something
stupid that got him re arrested, and they are trying to establish
case law regarding peelers of potato's and felons...
The UK has had stop and searches for years. I got stopped and searched when vacationing in London in 2008. The police have authority to search anyone. And anything pointy can’t be carried on your person “without good reason.” The place has lost its mind. It’s also an example of how banning one thing won’t stop crime. I wouldn’t be surprised if the potato peeler was intended to be used as a shiv for lack of a better word. Still, it’s crazy that you can be arrested in the UK for having a kitchen utensil on your person.

So how do you get caught with a potato peeler? Do they have potato peeler scent dogs over there?

This is the funniest thread I’ve read in weeks.

I don't find it funny at all!

I have spent enjoyable days in the UK in years past while on vacation and checking out the environs from which my forebears came up North in Scotland...

You couldn't PAY me to go to the UK as things now stand. What total stupidity and bullshit, and my heart weeps for the residents.

I saw a video of a Tongan Crips gang banger, on trial in court, didn't like the witness' testimony, grabbed his atty's pen, tried to stab the witness. I guess the UK should outlaw pens and pencils, as they could be used as weapons. (The gang banger was killed in the attempt).

I guess the moral of the story is carry a potato along with your peeler in public.

He was just taking the American aphorism of carrying a cop with him. "Peeler" is slang for cop, after all.
