Good thing as it turned out to be a false alarm. The picture is posted to the facebook group so even without the original if it turns out to be someone's class photo they can down load it.

AWESOME Sgt !!! ... I posted this thread ~2ys ago. Within a few months and no one pictured responded, I placed the framed picture back on the curb where I found it, rather than toss it. Though very likely it ultimately got tossed. Something deep in the back of my mind told me to hang onto it, but sadly I didn't listen. So very glad the image is available elsewhere for those honorable and respected veterans. Thank you.

drill sgtFt. Polk, LA. Aug 1968 A-1-1 located against the far south boundry fence and had 2 or 3 persons climbed the fence and went AWOL. Unit motto "Spizzerinctum" = supposidly meaning "Energy/Ambition/Will to Suceed. .................... drill sgt.
