Holy smokes! This certainly defrays the cost of my SigForum membership!

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

You can’t get the 125 without swearing that you have credit monitoring.
So who’s got a line on a free service I can use? Credit Karma is free but I don’t know anything about them.

OK, in 6 months if only 1 million sign up for the $125 MAXIMUM then each person will get $31. If 5 million sign up for the $125, each will get $6.20.
I think I will pass & stay tuned. Please report in a few months the $ received.

Eligible for and applied for the check (already have monitoring for a Federal breach). Kinda surprised I haven't received an email regarding this check application.

NerdWallet noted in an article this week that “there would need to be no more than 248,000 approved claims out of the 147 million consumers affected — or less than one-fifth of one percent — for approved applicants to get the full $125.”
I'm eligible and applied, but I'm going to wait to spend it.

The majority of the award was set aside for fines and credit monitoring services. Thirty one million was set aside for the cash option. If ten million claimants choose the cash option your cash award will be $3.10.!!!!!!

I took the 4 years of free credit monitoring. I don't currently have a credit monitoring subscription and I'd rather be able to track my accounts than have the $125. That's just me.

So you intend to sue independently of the class?
