U.S. Capitol Police on Wednesday arrested a suspect for allegedly "doxing" one or more GOP senators by posting their private information online.

The suspect, 27-year-old Jackson Cosko of Washington, D.C., has been charged with publicizing restricted personal information, witness tampering, second-degree burglary, threatening interstate communications, unauthorized use of a government computer, identity theft, and unlawful entry, according to a Wednesday press release.

The Capitol Police declined to answer The Hill's follow-up requests for comment.

Reports emerged last week someone from within the U.S. House of Representatives had posted the home addresses and personal cellphone numbers of GOP Sens. Orrin Hatch (Utah), Mike Lee (Utah) and Lindsey Graham (S.C.) on Wikipedia.

The anonymous Wikipedia edits were made as the three senators questioned Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh during the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing last Thursday.

Kavanaugh was testifying alongside Christine Blasey Ford, the woman accusing Kavanaugh of sexual assaulting her in 1982.

The edits were posted by the @congressedits, a Twitter account which automatically tweets edits made to Wikipedia pages from Capitol Hill computers. The Twitter account was suspended for posing personal information.

Rumors circulated online that the IP address behind the edits came from the office of Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), though the California congresswoman later said the Capitol Police and a tech specialist determined the "IP address in question does not belong to my office or anyone on my staff."

The Capitol Police noted in the Wednesday press release that the investigation is ongoing.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Yeah, but I want to know which party she works for. Well, I can figure that out. I want to know the politicians she’s worked for. I hope she crows that one of them told her to do it.

We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Democratic staffer arrested in doxxing of GOP senators during Kavanaugh hearing

A Democratic congressional staffer was arrested Wednesday and accused of posting the personal information of at least one Republican senator during last week's hearing about sexual assault claims against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, authorities said.

U.S. Capitol Police said 27-year-old Jackson Cosko was charged with:
    making public restricted personal information
    witness tampering
    threats in interstate communication
unauthorized access of a government computer
    identity theft
    second-degree burglary
    unlawful entry

Police added that the investigation was continuing and more charges could be filed.

Senior congressional sources tell Fox News that Cosko most recently worked as a staffer for Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Texas. He also had worked with Sen. Maggie Hassan, D-N.H., and former Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer of California. A LinkedIn page with Cosko's name on it describes him as a "Democratic Political Professional & Cybersecurity Graduate Student."

Sen. Graham on scrutinizing handling of Kavanaugh hearingVideo
Personal information of Sens. Lindsey Graham, Mike Lee and Orrin Hatch was posted on their respective Wikipedia pages as the Senate Judiciary Committee questioned Kavanaugh over allegations that he assaulted Christine Blasey Ford at a high school party in the early 1980s. All three have professed their belief that Kavanaugh is innocent of the claims brought against him by Ford, with Graham telling the federal judge "you've got nothing to apologize for" amid a fiery rant denouncing Democrats' handling of the claims.

The intentional publication of the information was first caught by a Twitter bot that automatically tracks any changes made to Wikipedia entries from anyone located in the U.S. Congress and publicizes them on the social media site. The bot account later deleted the tweets because the edits contained personal information. According to the bot, whoever posted the information did so from a computer in the House of Representatives.

The home addresses of the senators appeared to be correct, thought the phone numbers didn't appear to be entirely accurate. A “home” phone number listed for Graham appeared to direct callers to the Sexual Minority Youth Assistance League (SMYAL), a Washington D.C.-based advocacy group.

It wouldn’t be that tough for anybody with a bit of search engine knowledge to find all of it on anybody. Even easier if you had a lexis nexus account. Most people aren’t assholes and wouldn’t publish it. I hope they torch the guy.

She worked for NH Senator Hassain.

Not long ago one of her staffers made an ass out of herself by cursing at the President. Our idiot Senator didn't even terminate her employment.

A Keene State College junior working this summer as an intern for New Hampshire's Democratic Sen. Maggie Hassan has been identified as the woman swearing at President Donald Trump last Tuesday as he made his way to a meeting with House Republicans.

Caitlin Marriott can be heard yelling "Mr. President, F-- you!" as Trump and a team of aides and security personnel make their way across the Capitol Rotunda to House Speaker Paul Ryan’s office.

Hassan won the election by barely more than a hundred votes..yet voter fraud was uncovered showing well over that number were probably fraudulent votes. In fact one resident was just recently charged with voter fraud...trying to claim it was a mistake they voted twice.

This is currently the lead story on FOX. Incidentally I just checked other so called news sites (CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC) and there wasn't one mention of this story. It just doesn't fit the commie agenda so it isn't news.

JUST IN: Doxxer Jackson Cosko Threatened to Leak GOP Senators’ Children’s Health Information

Nothing is too low for the left.

On Wednesday, Capitol Police arrested 27-year-old Jackson Cosko of DC for “allegedly posted private, identifying information (doxxing) about one or more United States Senators.”

It’s worse than we thought.

Accused doxxer 27-year-old Jackson Cosko threatened to leak Republican Senators’ children’s health information if any witnesses dared go to the authorities about his criminal activities.

FOX News reported:

According to a sworn statement by Capitol Police Captain Jason Bell, a witness Tuesday saw Cosko at a computer in a senator’s office, where he used to work, a day after two other unnamed senators’ information had been put on Wikipedia. Cosko is then alleged to have walked out, and hours later the witness received an email from “livefreeorpwn@gmail.com” saying: “If you tell anyone I will leak it all. Emails signal conversations gmails. Senators children’s health information and socials.”

“Socials” apparently referred to social security numbers, while Signal is a secure messaging application. Bell said that there was probably cause to believe that Cosko published the information of senators, and then made threatening statements directed to the unnamed witness “with the intent to hinder, delay, or prevent” the witness from reporting it to authorities.

Many Republicans on the Senate Judiciary had their home addresses and phone numbers published on their Wikipedia pages last Thursday.

Shortly after Lindsey Graham went off on Senate Democrats for destroying Kavanaugh’s life in order to derail his confirmation, Republicans were doxxed.

The victims included Republican Senators Mike Lee, Orrin Hatch of Utah and Lindsey Graham, reported the Washington Times.

US Capitol Police charged Jackson Cosko with Making Public Restricted Personal Information, Witness Tampering, Threats in Interstate Communications, Unauthorized Access of a Government Computer, 2nd Degree Burglary and Unlawful Entry.

Cosko worked for Dem Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, Dem Senator Maggie Hassan and (now retired) Dem Senator Barbara Boxer.
