Why should he be held accountable when there are others in government who lie constantly, Adam Shitt, Pocahontas I can go on and on. I would say 25% are pathological liars, and another 50% have lied while in office or running for office. So why is it that Republicans are held to a different level of honesty standard. This guy is WAY over the top. I knew kids like him in high school. In college we had the Honor System just like the Service Academies and if you got caught doing stuff like this you were gone in a heartbeat. Integrity is important. The fact that others have done similar things is something a high school kid would say. It is just plain disgusting. | |||

We can still do both. He doesn't deserve to stay in Congress because he got elected when he got elected by misrepresenting very significant parts of his qualifications. Regardless of others like Biden or Warren, the list goes on on. How do we call them out for their lies while supporting this assclown? And I for one don't want him running around for the next two years with an (R) after his name getting gratuitously trotted out by the media whenever possible, tarnishing conservatives. | |||

I get the complaint, but what are YOU doing about it? These things don't happen in a vacuum. Those actively involved attempt to locate and encourage qualified candidates. Those candidates then have to run against others. If you don't like the quality of candidate running, there are two primary options: Help locate a better candidate or throw your hat in the ring. Complaining, wishing, hoping, sitting out elections, etc. are what lead to exactly what you're seeing here. | |||
