It seems like a good time to count our blessings. I'll post a couple of things we've avoided with the defeat of the stupid bimbo and with our gains in Congress and you guys can add to the list.

First, as a gun forum, it's apparent that gun owners won in a big way. Harris had vowed to ban AR-15s via executive order immediately. Of course, this would not be possible, but short of that, you can bet that we would be assailed non-stop by the bullshit efforts of the Dems to disarm us. There's no need to say that we should never stop fighting against these efforts; that's understood, but we should take a moment to savor what is clearly a great victory.

More importantly even that that, the possibility of amnesty, citizenship and all that entails, including the right to vote, for 15 to 30 million illegal aliens the America-hating Dems have let into this country, has evaporated. Not only is this no longer a possibility, but Donald Trump has stated this week that there is "no price tag" on getting these illiterate peasants out of our country.

The Supreme Court. Dems wanted to pack the court, with three to six additional justices, all on par with the leftist idiots already there- Sotomayor, Kagan and that ultimate DEI hire, Ketanji Brown-Jackson. Roll Eyes

Ain't happenin'.

What else?

Riots, civil unrest, civil war, the resounding victory with the EC and Popular vote stopped them in their tracks.

Exposing and ending the rule of the press over the thought process of all Americans, and, that social media, in the right hands can unleash the power of the people.

What it could mean for the Supreme Court was my biggest concern about the election.

Four+ years from now everything else that is being discussed could—and may very well will change due the fickle nature of the American electorate, but Supreme Court appointments are much more stable. Unfortunately, the “packing” danger will always exist, but the Court itself might conceivably protect itself by some future ruling.

“ Enlightenment is man’s emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one’s own understanding without another’s guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one’s own mind without another’s guidance.”

As stated above “judges”! The first time around I wasn’t an overly enthusiastic Trump voter, but one of the most reassuring things Trump did early on was state he’d look to the Federalist Society for guidance on judicial picks. I look forward to that effort being reconstituted.

We avoided a complete economic collapse that her price controls and taxing unrealized gains schemes would have caused. That would have ultimately lead to socialism and/or straight up communism, because the only entity that could have rescued us from that kind of collapse is the government.

We also get to hold onto our 1st amendment rights as well.

We don't buy or eat processed food. We make a lot more from scratch as a way to reduce these no need additives and colorings.
