Just like the supreme court nonsense gong on right now.... A kangaroo court is till a kangaroo court.

Now, If i'm wrong, then so be it and I'll examine the evidence as i get it.

But decades old stories are not in the slightest... "evidence"

Kevin, if you didn't follow it, and didn't sit through the trial, how can you speculate that there is no evidence? Twelve good citizens of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania did hear the evidence, and convicted him. Cosby has a ton of money, so this isn't even a case where he was at the usual disadvantage. There was a semi-confession.

He has appealed, so we'll see what the court of appeals thinks.

But I also agree that sending 80-somethings to prison for events that took place decades ago seems to miss the point, somehow. I don't think he should get off without punishment, but that doesn't seem quite right, either.

I refused to believe this when the first allegation or two hit. Not because I thought he was perfect, but for the following reasons:

-In the 1960's and 70's, he was a fit, former college athlete; wealthy, famous and a powerful force in Hollywood.
-In the 1980's and 90's, his power in Hollywood was even bigger.
-Beautiful women, by the score, will throw themselves at the above combination 24/7, 365.

Cosby didn't have to drug any women. All he would have to do is snap his fingers, so doing the things of which he was accused made no sense. But there are too many allegations and they came out over many, many years. If he did these things, and I believe he did, it is because he is a sick, perverted SOB. Whatever happens to him in the justice system is nothing in comparison to what he is going face when he dies.

I hope he faces himself, confesses his sins and repents.

Again, I agree.

Remember when Letterman was screwing all his young interns? Same kind of dirtbag as Cosby. But what are these women doing? Are these men so incredibly handsome and sexy they are irresistible? That's not what it's about. It's about an unspoken-- usually-- quid pro quo.

Lots of emotions, but he and they were/are operating in a 'different' environment. There is a different set of 'rules' for those folks, just read "People" magrag for a few insights. If you are not in their world, it is not about justice. That is not my world and I really don't care how cannibalistic it is. They do feed on each other! This has been ongoing for centuries!

So YOU would just kill him instead of letting the law/courts take it's course (which it did and he is in prison). Nice. Eek

No, he won't get "killed in Prison". Most inmates I had experience with as a CO respect the "Old heads" in lock up. The child molesters are on every ones shit list.

Concerning Cosby to his raping of women, let's not forget Magic Johnson or Julius Erving, both claiming to sleeping with thousands of women. Can anyone tell us just how many of those women were raped?

This is beyond rape. Cosby wanted to have sex with unwilling women who were unconscious. That’s a special kind of sickness. I also find it hard to believe his long-time wife didn’t enable this behavior. He paid out a lot of money over the years to keep it quiet.

willing women who would have preferred being conscious during their tryst. i'm not fooled by women throwing their bodies at money and fame, the story line is as old as dirt. i don't believe any of them (based on my limited knowlege) didn't know exactly what they were doing, and what they wanted out of it. dating the rich and famous isn't always the same as dating a favorite farm boy down the road. many women are just downright risque and my suspicion is that some or all of these victims were of the sporting variety. he was a victim of the times and his own stupidity.

The point is he could probably have screwed many of these women with dinner and drinks. However, he knocked them out with drugs.

Unwilling women usually don't put themselves in a position where they're alone with a celebrity.

^^^ A married celebrity.

Who has flirted with them.

And invites them back to his hotel room.

Where he says, "Here, take this pill."

I spent a lot of years in the entertainment industry working on TV shows, movies and various live events. I toured with several major artists all over the country. During this time I met a lot of women who had some sort of sexual contact with members of the crew. I never once saw a woman do anything unwillingly. They know what they are doing and I don’t think I ever saw a man on the crew make first contact. Now this doesn’t happen like I’ve been told it did in the 80’s but it happens.

I’m quite sure that several of these women have grown up to regret one of those nights. Telling a husband or daughter, or lying about it, must be hard for some of them. And I’m sure they under the right conditions some of them would certainly downplay how willing they were and blame some substance that someone “slipped” them, as though they weren’t gleefully eating pills like a fat kid with a bag of M&Ms.

The multitude of women who have come out against Cosby make me believe there is something to it but all I’m saying is that in my experience they’ve all been as willing as any guy involved.

I do, as well, and their stories are SUBSTANTIALLY different from those we heard about Cosby.

I stand corrected. Apparently I wasn’t aware that women prefer to get laid while they are unconscious.

Some I think do. Or at least mentally unconscious if not physically. Based on my personal experiences and the amount of voluntary substance abuse that I have witnessed there are clearly a large number of both men and women who don't want to remember much.
