The 6 is 4g LTE and VoLTE and should be fine on Verizon.

Yikes. I hope they don’t quit supporting the 6 as that is what my wife and I use. In fact that’s what I’m using to type this reply. We were with the devil, AT&T, switched to Cricket ~1-1/2 years ago for 1/2 the cost while still using AT&T towers, and haven’t looked back.

As I understand it, apple just quit issuing updates for the iPhone 6 and earlier phones. Maybe they’re less secure if you do anything where that would be a concern. Eventually they’ll become unusable.

When you turn the iphone on, it should go through the set up process so there's no need for the passcode. If it wasn't reset before it was sent to you, I remember you had to enter the wrong code so many times and then the iphone will reset automatically. I'm not sure if that feature is still available. "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." I beg to differ...I have an iPhone 6 that I put into service last Christmas (12/25/21) when previous my phone was EOL (Battery was Completely DONE / No longer holding a charge on my Sony Xperia!). I have Verizon and have ZERO issues, service or otherwise. I've also had NO communication from Verizon indicating that they'll no longer be supporting the phone either! Apple however, has ceased to support the iPhone 6 and no longer offers iOS updates for this phone, so it's 'maxxed out' at iOS 12.5.5. As such, there are Apps I had on my previous phone that will not install/run on the iPhone 6. I had the battery replaced by Apple in this iPhone 6 a couple of years ago, and due to the iOS update/throttling controversy, did so at a significantly reduced price! I had just upgraded my wife's phone and kept her old iPhone 6 around as a 'backup phone' just in case someone in the family had a need for an unplanned replacement. In fact, I was able to just swap the SIM card from my Sony Xperia/Android phone into the iPhone 6 and start using it on Verizon immediately. Later I logged into my Verizon account and it showed the iPhone 6 as the active phone for my number, so it couldn't have been any easier...ZERO issues! ____________________________________________________________ If Some is Good, and More is Better.....then Too Much, is Just Enough !!
