Perhaps I am using the term too loosely (slang definition is “a child who enters the same profession as his/her parent”).

From Wikipedia:

His father, James R. Himes, worked for the Ford Foundation in Lima. His father was also the director of the UNICEF Innocenti Center, a research institute on child development in Florence, Italy. His mother, Judith A. Himes, was until recently the director of board activities for the New Jersey Board of Higher Education in Trenton.

Basically, parents connected to political organizations…

I recall hearing that his parents were in the ambassadorial service…. But I could be mis-remembering that factoid.

Cory Mills R, we had a D infiltrate the area a while back, don't remember her at all.

Mills is a veteran, 82nd Airborne injured in Iran war, he actually does have a Bronze Star, unlike the MD Governor.... helped found a company Pacem Defense, ALS Defense, interesting stuff.

Rudy Yakym. He's ok...votes the way I'd like and says the right stuff. I don't know anything about him personally, though. We are right on the line between the 2nd and 3rd congressional district, and they moved it in 2021 so we went from the 3rd to the 2nd. Marlin Stutzman is the 3rd district congressman, and I've met him a few times and worked with his son for a little bit. Also an OK guy.

Mine is Ashley Hinson who just threw her hat in the ring to replace Senator Joni Ernst. I think Joni crapped the nest when she opposed Pete Hegseth for Sec Def. My own opinion is she thought the job should have been hers. Hinson has done a fair job of toeing the line for values I find important. She's not perfect but no one ever is.

Dang spell correct changed his name!

Jamie Ratskin. Nothing more needs to be said.

The key to enforcement is to punish the violator, not an inanimate object. The punishment of inanimate objects for the commission of a crime or carelessness is an affront to stupidity.

I live in Michigan, the western suburbs of Detroit. Michigan redrew its Congressional district boundaries (and all the state gov district boundaries too).
I am now lumped in with uber-liberal Ann Arbor!! Mad
And Debbie Dingell purposely relocated to Ann Arbor so that she could retain a seat in Congress! So now she is my congressman.
Ugh!

Best regards,

Are you voting for Brandon Herrera?

As for me Sam Graves is my rep and he's solid. Hopefully on the Clay County side Emmanuel Cleaver got gerrymandered out of the Northland. He backs the kind of policies that led to the city funded grocery store that cost $39 million and still closed with nothing on the shelves.

I moved back to Massachusetts 11 years ago to care for elderly parents...Since then, I have not had a representative in Congress.

Valerie Foushee. NC 4th Congressional District.

Would say she is dumb as a rock but that would be disparaging to rocks.

Worthless in NC Senate and nothing but a water carrier for the National demonrat party. Never had an original thought in her life. The epitome of DEI.
