Well? Did it hold up OK under high heat? And Flashguy, a jar of bacon grease on the stovetop sounds uncharacteristically risky. Do be careful as I had friends that pretty much lost their home to smoke damage from a similar situation. | |||

My mother had a coffee can of bacon grease next to the stove. People who grow up on farms know how to cook. I hope one of my brothers got all of her cast iron. | |||

Been just me for 4 years this month. Haven't quite got to the CLP status though. Not sure I want to. I'd rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I'm not. | |||
