All pre-sold?
We got a huge stock our first year not realizing we couldn't return what didn't sell.
Luckily it was only about $200 at the end.
Now we just pick up what's sold.

Edit: Missed that that's troop stock.

Our troop leader is the area pantry, so she stocks for multiple troops, insane stacks of cookie cases.

I never considered the space that one troop's cookie sales might take up. Just the other day, while devouring a fresh box of Thin Mints, I wondered if parents are reimbursed for the significant time, materials, and mileage in assembling, labeling, and delivering individual cookie orders.

2 different bakeries. Each council gets to choose which bakery they order from. There are differences in almost all of the cookies.

They aren’t pre-sold. The troop decides how many they want to order, we pick them up at a distributor, then they sell as many as they can. Leftovers can be returned, but we try to ensure we don’t have any.

The protection is holding the phone taking the picture.

I’ve been good all year; I got one case of Thin Mints last year that lasted all the way until the start of this cookie season. I hope to repeat that.
