"I'll just pop a few of these to see what's in them"???
From my post above...
Police say the supervisor did not ingest the pills, but opened the pill bottle to check it and was exposed due to them being an "inhalation hazard."
It can also be absorbed through the skin. More than one person dropped because of just handling that shit.

Ah. Amateur pill factory, no coating. That makes sense.
Even pills from a "professional pill factory" can leave behind residue dust.
I take a prescription daily, and the interior of the orange pill bottle is coated in a layer of white dust from the white pills.
When dealing with fentanyl, it only takes a very small dose to cause issues in "normal" non-opiate-addicted folks whose bodies haven't built up a massive tolerance to opiate effects.

GustoferYou stand about as much chance at overdosing from skin contact with fentanyl in a powder form (or liquid form for that matter) as you do getting run over by a bus. It just ain't going to happen without some type of carrier. If it did happen, I'd be dead a few dozen times a week.
And for the love of God, it's pronounced fentanIL, not fentanALL.

(That last part's not directed at you CPD, but all the idiot newscasters).
