I'm moved by how powerful a statement this was, it really brought my attention to the issue of climate change and I've now changed my mind and become a climate change activist. How brave this man was, to sacrifice himself for such a noble cause.

I just changed it back. Climate change is bull$hit. I wonder if he got to enjoy the Huey ride though.

"If you’re a leader, you lead the way. Not just on the easy ones; you take the tough ones too…” – MAJ Richard D. Winters (1918-2011), E Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne

"Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil... Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the Lord Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel." - Isaiah 5:20,24

For someone who “loves the planet” self immolation is a very eco unfriendly way to off yourself. Idiots like this make a noble endeavor into a punchline. Mad

What an asshole.

Just as sick and demented are the comments praising his act. The lunacy runs deep in our society sadly.

I don’t even remotely agree with comparing him to a Buddhist Monk, sorry those
Monks are devoted and are men of their faith. This guy was an attention seeking asshat. Increased the worlds gene pool.

He was so committed you can hear him screaming in pain in the video. Unlike the true Buddhist monks that protested in Tibet and Vietnam.
