I recall a thread where one of us had written their review of the Harley Davidson Live Wire.
I have not found it in a search. ]I would love to see a new review after having some time with it.

Still have the bike, 1700+ miles and great to get on and run around town. Not your typical touring Harley but great commuter bike (but I’m now a “hybrid” worker and riding as much) for the around town trips.

I’ve had minimal issues (a small decorative panel came off it’s double sided tape) and runs nice and people still ask about the bike when I’m out and about.

It’s really nice when the weather temperatures are higher and you do not have any engine heat to deal with.

My only negative, seating position. Since it is more forward lean and after longer rides I do feel it in my arms and hands. I’m fairly large framed (yes fat) at 6’ 260lbs and if I was in a little better shape it may be more comfortable.

Now the inside good stuff. I have a Harley-Davidson branded Livewire (2020) and as of last year and in a few weeks Livewire will be a separate company from Harley-Davidson. But they will continue to share engineering and manufacturing. There are Livewire dealers opening up across the country. The techs at traditional Harley-Davidson dealers that were trained on service for the EV platform will continue. There will just be more options.

Livewire also announced the Generation 2 Del Mar EV bike a few months back and the initial production run sold out in 18 minutes. I was able to see one up close at the Museum and it does look a bit different. Priced a bit better @$17k.

After watching that video I just gotta ask. Are black hipsters really the target demo for this bike? Wink
