Military appreciation with a P228 Karma ---> *** WINNER = Yellow Jacket ***
Loves me some SIGs. 2 years in Germany, A year in NAM. Signal corps. The Infantry says "Follow Me"
The Signal Corps says "Call me When you Get There".

A gun in the hand is worth more than ten policemen on the phone.
The American Revolution was carried out by a group of gun toting religious zealots.

Please add me to your generous karma. My family includes many who served. My brother served in the Army starting in 1967 and wound up 100% disabled. He died as a result of his injuries later. My father spent 11 years in the military in WW2 and his brother served in WW2 in the Army Air Force. His son, cousin John was a door gunner in VN. Both grandfathers were in WW1. I am the only one that is still living. Thank you

I qualify, I guess. 6 years US Army - 1957-63.

However, please don't include me in this karma. IMO, combat vets would be ahead of the line.

Add me please.
Both my Grandfathers served in Korea. One turns 90 next week his favorite story to tell is swapping his M1 Garands with someone that had a carbine. He was a lineman running telecommunication lines which had a fair amount of pole climbing and he had no clue why he was never issued a carbine.

I'd appreciate the opportunity, Navy from 78-84. One of my most memorable was as a 19 year old kid our sub surfaced in the Bermuda Triangle and we had swim call. A bunch of guys in skivvies jumping in with the nearest land being the bottom and my chief on the sailplane with an M16 on shark watch.

re: " if you have family member(s) who did/do the same, you are eligible."

very thoughtful, thank you.

Sign me up please. One uncle drove a tank from Omaha Beach to Berlin; another uncle was a seabee in the S. Pacific modifying atolls into runways; 3 older brothers in Korean era USAF & Army; oldest son signed in to the Marines before graduating from high school; caught Gulf I. I tried to sign up with the Navy as carrier pilot but they gave me "4F".

Thank you for the chance for another generous karma!

My granddad served in WWII. By the time he got home he earned three Purple Hearts and Bronze Stars just to name a couple. We didn’t know until after he passed. You still see shrapnel under his eye and by his ankle until the end. Never heard him complain, ever.
