I find them to be very comfortable and utilitarian when working on the property.

Best regards,

Tom

I wear them often working on vehicle restorations or yard work. I feel they exentuate my figure, and flatter my shape.

When I’m out working around the property, I strap on my S & W 686. First 3 rounds are for snakes. Lot’s of Copperheads in this area. More concerned about dog than myself. The secound 3 are .357 hollow points for any 2 legged snakes that might happen by!

Best regards,

Tom

All great until you have to do some business - Drop the shirt over - unsnap and wiggle - secure the Pico.

But yes way more flattering to my figure.

Love old Liberty ones but my wife can barely stand to see me in black Carhartts.

Last week on the drive to work, the 20-something female was explaining to her 50-something male cohosts of the morning program that the 90s were back in style. The two that stuck with me were neon and bib overalls.

In other words, y’all are trendy Big Grin

I wore them for 26 years at the Post Office. I spent the first three months unloading trucks and it was, pick up box/sack, place on conveyor belt, pull up pants, repeat. After about a week, I went with bibs.

When I got into maintenance working on the sorting equipment it entailed stooping, crawling, and going into and under the equipment so I went back to them again. Once the farmer jokes were all used up on me other people started wearing them too Razz.

Wool ones. Snuggy for winter in the Yoop.
And Duluth Trading makes a DeLuxe set!

Back in my railroading days, they were pretty much standard attire for the summer...buying a couple waist sizes larger made it easy to squat and crawl around when needed...when the temps got colder, I would swap between overalls and insulated coveralls (AKA "the dog bed" in railroad slang Smile)...I haven't worn "overhauls" since I retired in 2011 and I donated my "dog beds" to my coworkers when I left.

I wore them a good bit in the 80's-'90s for different jobs.

I recall sometime back in that time frame there was apparently some music award TV show that had just aired and some rap group went on stage to receive their award wearing bib overalls. Almost instantly Carharts became popular and almost doubled in price...made it hard for a working guy to buy basic work clothes.

My Duluth Trading firehouse overalls are my go-to for logging. Handy as can be. Too damn hot in summer.

I’ve got a couple pairs that I wear for hunting and just General knocking around. Much more comfortable than jeans, and plenty of pockets to boot. There are the occasional farmer jokes to deal with though.
Pointer brand seems to hold up best for me.

I bought Carhart after inquiring here but I do not wear them much. 'Struth, it was remembering Junior Samples that triggered the impulse. May give it a go in the AM if not more round than tall.
