Chick-fil-A is creepy according to The New Yorker Login/Join

"Its headquarters, in Atlanta, are adorned with Bible verses and a statue of Jesus washing a disciple's feet," Dan Piepenbring wrote. "Its stores close on Sundays. Its C.E.O., Dan Cathy, has been accused of bigotry for using the company's charitable wing to fund anti-gay causes, including groups that oppose same-sex marriage."

That is easy for us to say but the left doesn't operate that way.

The left is probably trying to come up with a way to make Chick-Fil-A illegal, just like they do with guns, conservative talk radio, etc.

I guess I will have to vote with my wallet, and buy $100 of Chick-fil-A gift cards to give away this week.

But a sidenote. No one goes to our local Chick-fil-A any more, the lines are always too long. Smile And isn't Chick-fil-A the one who seems to open their stores and give away free food during disaster situations? How creepy is that.

First the liberal media attacks the second amendment. Next, they attack family values and deem it creepy. Sorry New Yorker mag, when your in league with liberal deviants & dems, it’s = fake news.

It has to drive the left, and it's mouth pieces crazy that CFA is so wildly successful. CFA stands for everything that they despise.

CFA is the NRA of the food world, and not at all surprising that the New Yorker would find it "creepy".

In this example, creepy is a description that the left has resorted to using because they don't have any real reasons to malign CFA. CFA simply disagrees with what the left wants all others to believe. It does not matter to the left CFA business model does many things very well, and they act with kindness to ANYONE in what seems to be a never ending string of examples.

The left/progressives wants to force all to think like them, and the rest of us want to choose to follow what we see as a better way of thinking and living. I've read this thought expressed here many, many, different ways but it always come down to the same twisted imbalance. Freedom of speech and inclusiveness, only seems to apply when you agree with them.

Their breakfast is creepily amazing.

The only thing creepy about it is that breakfast ends at 10:30am, when it should at least go until 11am or all creeping day long.

If it had Muslim shit all over the walls or gay pride slogans, it wouldn’t be creepy.

Hell, in their world, it would totally make total sense to have Muslim shit AND gay pride shit plastered all over the place.

I've been in CFA's down south and don't care for the bible verses on the menu boards (they don't do that around these parts) but its no different than any other mom and pop who has a sign up. No fast food place is as efficient, friendly and consistently good as CFA which is why I continue to spend $$ there.

If CFA ever did burgers, McD's would be bankrupt.

I wish you wouldn’t post things like this on Sundays, so we have to wait until tomorrow to deal with the craving.

Until then, this advice from Napolean Bonaparte seems appropriate:

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Not surprising at all. The New Yorker also thinks a majority of the people in this country (like those on this forum) are creepy. In the mean time, we neither care, nor does CFA suffer in any way from stories like this.

Now, I think its time for a spicy Deluxe sandwich.
