Of course that's the way The Monkey would spell it, without vowels. Me, I need vowels to see the proper pronunciation. I am nowhere near as fluent as SigMonkey.

I keep thinking -- old dog, new tricks. I should do a littler research and see if there are evening classes offered anywhere near me. I'm interested in both classical and modern Hebrew. I remember when I was a kid, my grandparents conversed in multiple languages (they were immigrants). Their first language was Yiddish. They were fluent in Hebrew as well, but that was reserved for the synagogue (religious) environment.
