So, it worked out that, as a result of this, Otto adopted two kittens from a shelter.

And, with all this coming about, I'm not sure I possess the courage to give any of them away, and to separate them. As I said, it's a real dilemma. I don't know what I'm going to do.

Y'know, they jump up in my chair and fall asleep in my lap, and when I feed them, the way they look up at me in excitement, standing on their hind legs trying to reach the dish...

My wife said that if I treated people the way I treat animals, I'd be in line for sainthood. Wink

Sounds like they found their patsy, er, home. Congrats for becoming a multi cat dad. It’s a good feeling to see them all hanging out and playing. 5 is our magic number.

Para,

We have had up to four cats in our house at one time, of the eight that we have owned altogether over the years, all kitten rescues, and they have all been very special members of our family.

We thought “Four, are we crazy?!” but it all worked out and it was so much fun for us!

Your “little people in fur coats” will enjoy and love their forever home with you and your family, and they’ll have you trained to meet their expectations in no time flat!! Smile

I’m deathly allergic to cats, and not really a fan anyway (I’m more of a dog person), but that crew is adorable. Hopefully your older cat will yield to the inevitable and come to enjoy the little tykes.

Those are very nice photos of your little tiger kitties Para. Ive dealt with many feral litters here on my best friends destroyed property. A litter of 6 just now. This is no place healthy for animals. I suspect it will be condemed soon. A big relief as his daughter calls the clean up a monumental task. Its bigger than that and, the house is not repairable. Ive taken 73 critters off the property and they are now moving back in. Three feral females dont seem to stop making kittens. Animal control has been a little helpful but, they bring them back after they are fixed. These 6, however many have survived will go to a good shelter, 10 miles away and the lady does a fine job of finding them homes. The bank gets this mess after that and I will be done there. I have my orange Tiger for a great pet friend. We go back to the Vet shortly for oil change and tire rotation. I love my little friend. Good luck with the little trio.
