I listened several times. There was a black woman to the bottom right corner of the frame, further down the sidewalk trying to intervene. I think she knew the killer, was calling his name, and apologized to the victim and the woman. It would make more sense to me that the murderer is named Brian, which is what it sounds like she was saying, than the lady in the dress shouting the dead guy’s name in that tone. Also, at the end, when the lady is saying something about calling 911, there’s another call of “Brian” answered with a ragey ”What!” from the killer. Also betting the guy isn’t a teen, but it matters little. Zero situational awareness, zero sense. Why should anyone care, when she, herself, doesn't care and doesn't have the self-respect and the respect for her dead boyfriend? Yes, that posturing and look-at-me virtue-signaling is what's important. It's beyond fucked up. These people are naive and stupid. This guy, and a handful of others cited in this thread who have met their end because of their willful ignorance of the human condition, really believe themselves to be at the vanguard of 'creating social change'. They all fit a specific profile: white, politically Far Left (Progressive in hipster talk), hate commercialism, believe in challenging established norms and institutions to be essential, active participant in social organizations, interest in the local DIY, arts and music scene, etc. Moving into slum-like neighborhoods like Bed-Stuy, Williamsburg, Mission, West Oakland...their very presence results in gentrification which crates the cultural points-of-friction that they believe they're working to fight. Its no surprise that all of them have met their end at the hands of the very people they profess to be 'allies to' within the neighborhoods they tried to call home. They aren't bright and you'd be a fool to have one of them as a partner...this guy's girlfriend didn't lift a finger to help her boyfriend. | |||
