I am proud to say that half or better of my body is covered with US-made stuff every day; sometimes I am 100%. It's a largely aggravating endeavor. It's expensive, and requires the same trial and error as anything else, when it comes to fit and features. So, you're gonna spend some money on some things that aren't gonna be perfect, but what they lack in perfection, they make up for in their US origin. This has been my experience anyway. Second hand is a good way to get into some nice US-made stuff.

I have been meaning to create a thread discussing the various US-made jeans I've bought over the past few years. They all have their shortcomings, and they all cost more than other options.

I will say that the Bayside brand breast pocket T-shirts sold by All American Clothing have become a staple for me. A decent mid-weight cotton T-shirt at a reasonable price. I wear one almost every day.

Milsurp is another way to get some decent US-made stuff. Wearing surplus clothing doesn't have to mean you're wearing camo.

I have had a very nice ballcap made by Red White Blue Apparel for a while. I would recommend it.

Beware clothing brands that slap patriotic graphics on all their stuff. They're often not US-made clothing; only printed in the US.

Wonder why when American bootmakers take their production overseas, they don't use the lasts or last shapes they used when they made them here, but a new last that now sucks. I unfortunately agree. I have three pairs. Had to retire my favorites after about four years of them being my primary shoe. I had them repaired once, which prolonged their life a little bit, but they ultimately fell victim to the same failure.

The pair that has been the most rugged for me is a pair of Roughnecks. I neglected them at one point though, and the leather has dried, hardened, and cracked.

The pair that was the favorite, and has been retired are Wacoutas. I also have a pair of Iron Rangers that are coming apart much sooner than I'd like.

After I posted this, I went to look at their website to make an order and it appears they are out of business. Too bad, as I wore Pointer brand overalls for years.

Round House apparel from Oklahoma makes their stuff in the USA, after some more searching. So there is hope. They seem to be affordable and well made. I’m going to order a pair of overalls and find out.

I believe this is where the TX Jeans production shifted to.
Given I've had 2 pairs of TX Jeans split, I'd be a bit leery. They mistakenly sent me the stretch fabric Jeans & had both have splits, one on the side of a rear pocket & another on the zipper in Jeans.
My other 2 pairs, non stretch, are faring much better, other than a couple holes from IWB holster wear.
