There is 100 pages of old
"Made in USA" stuff in the search library.

From nose hair clippers to cordless tools to hex wrenches.

Thought we could attempt a clothing only thread.

Just bought a new pair of 990 V6 shoes from New Balance, my standard everyday shoe for the last 20 years.

Bendable, the link by oddball specifically leads you to the “Made in USA Collection” by New Balance.

For most of the companies listed in this thread, some, but not all of their production will be in the US. Oddball already did the legwork to find New Balance’s products made in the USA.

Have bought a few things from Triple Aught Design and really like the quality of the items. I picked up the Ranger Hoodie LT and Ranger Jacket LT.

Linking their About page where they state 95% of their offerings are Made in USA.

This is something to watch out for.

I am proud to say that half or better of my body is covered with US-made stuff every day; sometimes I am 100%. It's a largely aggravating endeavor. It's expensive, and requires the same trial and error as anything else, when it comes to fit and features. So, you're gonna spend some money on some things that aren't gonna be perfect, but what they lack in perfection, they make up for in their US origin. This has been my experience anyway. Second hand is a good way to get into some nice US-made stuff.

I have been meaning to create a thread discussing the various US-made jeans I've bought over the past few years. They all have their shortcomings, and they all cost more than other options.

I will say that the Bayside brand breast pocket T-shirts sold by All American Clothing have become a staple for me. A decent mid-weight cotton T-shirt at a reasonable price. I wear one almost every day.

Milsurp is another way to get some decent US-made stuff. Wearing surplus clothing doesn't have to mean you're wearing camo.

I have had a very nice ballcap made by Red White Blue Apparel for a while. I would recommend it.

Beware clothing brands that slap patriotic graphics on all their stuff. They're often not US-made clothing; only printed in the US.

My MAGA hat turned out to have been made in China, if you can believe that shit.

Wonder why when American bootmakers take their production overseas, they don't use the lasts or last shapes they used when they made them here, but a new last that now sucks. What does it take to leave the shitty cloth linings out and not pad the collar. I'm starting to think it is getting difficult to get a substantial US or Euro made boot with quality materials for less than $500. Red Wings aren't very impressive for what $300?

I unfortunately agree. I have three pairs. Had to retire my favorites after about four years of them being my primary shoe. I had them repaired once, which prolonged their life a little bit, but they ultimately fell victim to the same failure.

The pair that has been the most rugged for me is a pair of Roughnecks. I neglected them at one point though, and the leather has dried, hardened, and cracked.

The pair that was the favorite, and has been retired are Wacoutas. I also have a pair of Iron Rangers that are coming apart much sooner than I'd like.
