So wife wanted a new leather sofa...so we shopped around and found a really nice one. A bit spendy but worth it...quality.

Got it delivered...

And this happened...

The wife is on the side chair and I am in my 15 year old Lazy-boy.

Its a dogs life! He's got high-end taste...

Lucky dog. Seems like a heck of a nice place for him to relax.
I hope you two get to enjoy it at some point.

With a little scrunching and curling up, it can become a 3 dog couch:

To provide some scale, the one on the left is an Irish Wolfhound, trimmed.

I didn’t want leather fearing the dogs nails would mark it up too easily.
The dogs seem to tolerate the downgrade. Wink

Definitely verboten in the Swede house, our 130 lb Rotty would jack up that couch quickly

Our last dog (RIP Frown) we never let her on the couch.
She never got on when we were around or even tried.
HOWEVER, she was smart and always waited until we went to bed.
Smile

I miss her dearly.

A dog's life, that's what I want to come back as. Our Rottie claimed our California King size bed for his own. When he spreads out there's little room for us.

We probably wouldn't be able to sleep at night without him laying at our feet.

Looks like what my Great Danes pull, although the smaller one has laid claim to a leather chair near the fireplace, so he had hop off and bask in the heat whenever he desires - the larger puppy hops up on the couch whether it is unoccupied or has humans on it, expecting them to make some room for him. Entertaining to watch. Wink
