I’d be just fine.
I have multiple 1911, hi power. As well as several 1894 and a 1892 win and several A5. I have a SA22 and a 22 pump Remington not sure if a design copy or not.

Missing a nice superposed.

He designed two of my absolute favorites, the 1911 and the beautiful little SA-22. I’ve actually thought that at this stage of my life those could be the only two guns I could own and I’d probably be just fine.

Not all of his designs were successes. The machine gun known as the "potato digger" with the exposed linkage that dug holes in the ground and the T-square-shaped pistols (e.g. 1902) were the Preparations A through G or WD-1 through 39 of guns.

John Browning was a designer/tinkerer extraordinaire. I very much doubt that a 2025 version of Mr. Browning would be OK if limited to his designs.

That said, I enjoy shooting evolutions of the 1911 and High Power. My skeet, trap and sporting clay guns are an evolution of the Browning Superposed, his last completed firearm design.

The biggest gap in his resume is medium to long-range rifles, having really only had success with lever actions. The 1894 was a fine rifle but limited for anything over 200 yards.

But the 1911, Auto 5, and Superposed are as viable as ever.

As much as I love the designs of Mr John M Browning, (with the exception of those tiny sights!) I think there’s other designs that are just as good.
Sammy Colt had a nice single action back in the day.
FN produced some really effective machine guns.
Gaston Glock and his vast experience with shower curtain rings seems to have “made a better mousetrap”.
Eugene Stoner’s design seems to be slightly popular these days.
Micky Kalishnkov’s machine is pretty effective and popular in other parts of the world.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ll never give up my 1911 or BHP, and have, and will continue to trust them with my life, but there’s also other stuff out there that works.

Only lever guns? LOL. The Winchester 1885 single shot designed by Browning was a fine medium and long range rifle back in the day, and still is.

LOL!!! Got me. Using only a single shot as a medium to long range rifle is severely limiting, unlike using a 1911, Auto 5, or Superposed.

To answer the question, yes, I would be OK if limited to Browning designs. I’m kind of high drag, low speed.

Absolutely no doubt about it.
