Yeah, we do too. He was originally out of the truck, checked in, and even was in the trailer with us as we started loading. We’d loaded about of the quarter of the truck with him in the trailer. But at some point he walked out and jumped in the cab without anyone seeing.

I don’t blame anyone but the driver. Loading out of a show at a convention center is pretty hectic and the dock master has a lot of trucks to handle at one time.

Still, lesson learned. Typically we only use a couple trucking companies and they use very professional drivers. This was a client hire trucking company so I now know that in those cases we need to put a guy on the driver to make sure he’s not gonna fucking leave the dock once loading has started.

For California there are advantages of issuing CDLs for illegal immigrants. Each one of those will be given an ability to vote, and possibly to bring in more illegals as family members. The Dems are desperate to be in power, and will try every trick they can think of.

Also 60,000 extra CDLs mean more income through DMV licensing and truck licensing as well.

Illinois Republican Governor George Ryan did time in the slammer for his involvement in a CDL scam, I think in the 1990's.

Even Illinois wasn't as corrupt as Cali and NY back then, I guess. Look at us now!

Ryan rarely gets credit for a majorly good deed he performed, suspending Illinois' death penalty because of the high rate of wrongful convictions. Pardoned or commuted about two dozen men, all African-Americans IIRC, who had been railroaded by a group of corrupt cops.

A later DemoRat Governor took credit for eliminating the death penalty completely, but look where that got us.

A joint operation between federal and local law enforcement in Indiana has resulted in the arrests of 223 illegal immigrants. Among the arrestees are 146 semi-truck drivers, who were operating illegally as commercial drivers on U.S. roadways. The operation and arrests were announced by Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem at a press conference in Gary, Indiana, on Thursday.

“If you are here driving on our streets and highways illegally, you are endangering our citizens, and your days are numbered,” Noem stated. She added, “We don’t want any of these individuals on our roads or in our communities, and we especially don’t want them behind the wheel of an 18-wheeler when they can’t speak our language, don’t understand our laws, can’t follow roadway signs, and can’t interact with law enforcement or our citizens.

”The arrests were part of Operation Midway Blitz, a federal immigration enforcement action underway in the greater Chicago area. Todd Lyons, acting director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), revealed that many of the drivers arrested had criminal histories, including drug trafficking, assault, drunk driving, and fraud.A federal crackdown on illegal immigrants receiving commercial driver’s licenses (CDLs) has intensified following a number of recent fatal collisions. In one instance, an illegal immigrant driver accused of causing a fatal crash in Florida reportedly failed his CDL test 10 times before receiving a license. Another crash in California involving a semi-truck driver killed three people, raising further questions about sanctuary states issuing CDLs to illegal immigrants.

“It’s unconscionable that illegal aliens have CDLs and are driving 18-wheelers across our nation,” Lyons said. At the same time, DHS emphasized that the operation aimed to target “criminal illegal aliens terrorizing Americans in sanctuary Illinois.” Noem also noted a similar operation in Oklahoma, which has resulted in more than 250 arrests of illegal immigrant truck drivers.
