Used one of these while the kitchen was being rebuilt. Happy with the results.

The regular oven has air fry, so the countertop doesn’t get used much,

My roommate had a Gourmia one, sorry I don't have a clue what model it was or whether it was chicom made. I think it was a smaller one. I was skeptical but it actually worked pretty good for simple stuff like fries and tots. After that she starting doing fish and (I think) pork chops in it and they came out fairly good too.

Like bald1 I have a Cosori, an Amazon daily deal I bought last summer.

I use it for chicken, pork chops, mainly low fat content meats. One thing it excels at is cooking Southern style bagged hash browns and making home made French fries without oil. I’m on a low fat diet and for years haven’t been able to have fries until now. They are not perfect like real ones deep fried but close enough for me.

We just started down the Air Fryer road...
While at Wally World we found the final clearance area near the check out and spotted the CHEFMAN air fryer for $20. Sold. Then we got the bottle of Chick-fil-A Sauce and a 4lb bag of chicken @ Costco...

That's a great deal. I'm not familiar with that brand, but assume it's a low end brand. No matter for $20 if all it does is french fries it's worth it. My guess though is once you see the convenience and how foods come out you'll be upgrading before long.
