I actually think Jimmy was relieved when Obama showed up, he was no longer the worst POTUS in history.

Jimmy gave us Iran, Bill Clinton and gave away the Panama Canal. Among other disgraces.

He was a good man and a terrible president.

I'm with oddball. BHO and Biden both beat him as to the worst. As President, he was far from great, but I've always been of the opinion that his main fault was that he was surrounded by advisors that should never have been placed in a government position. And he listened to them.

A good ex-President who meant well.
The rest I’ll leave up to others to describe.

I never paid that asshole a compliment when he was alive, I certainly won't now. I could give a shit about whether he was worse or better than Biden / Obama. He's gone and that is a good thing.

He didn't seem to be a bad person unlike BHO and Biden. But Carter was definitely in way over his head when it came to being president. It took a Carter to get us Reagan.

True, both points. Well said. I had nothing but disgust for his terrible actions as President, but I did respect the man.

I do not believe that he hated our country (as Obama seems to), I just believe that his administration was inept and he was in over his head, and did not have a good team working with / for him.

I spent a good portion of his presidential term working in Spain. My highly educated and very politically aware Spanish co-workers really thought that he was a dumb-ass.

I would have to give him third worse.

Obummer #2 just a bit. Reagan was able to correct the peanut farmer's mistakes, Obummer's crap has had a lasting effect.

Bidet #1 by a long margin.

Truthfully, every time they rolled old Jimmy out in his wheelchair or hospice bed...well Jimmy was the only one in America who could make Bidet appear positively lifelike and athletic.

From what I read he served under Admiral Rickover in the nuclear navy, and Admiral Rickover didn't hire fools.

A smart guy, but yea, he was a shitty politician. RIP.
