So sad.
Condolences.
After my wife passed four cats have been my companions.
Can't imagine losing any of them.

You have my sincere condolences.
Just a short time ago I lost my 4 legged friend. It hurts like Hell.

I'd rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I'm not.

You have my sympathy. We just put our Border Collie down the day after his 17th birthday, October 26th. The house feels empty as I am sure you know.

Thoughts and prayers headed you way.... Oct 22nd our 14 1/2yr old Harley crossed that bridge and I am sure she was there to meet and greet Zeus. ..... Yes it hard to come into the house and they are not there to greet you.... And something will trigger you to call out their name and you realize they are not going to answer and come running. ........ just remember the good times and memories ............................... drill sgt.

It saddens me every time I read one of these posts, we have a 10 y/o standard poodle that is showing early signs of old age. Hopefully he still has a few more years left but I hate to think about loosing him.

Stay strong my friend, you have him a great long life.

So sorry. The loss of a loved companion is difficult. I know the feeling having lost beloved dogs in the past.
