I’ll check out the Tune in app this afternoon on my way into work. IHeartRadio is a no-go. It lasted about 5-10 minutes before I had to turn it off this morning....the sound quality is horrible. Sounded like they were broadcasting from a tin can. I always have Apple Music to fall back on...and if it keeps leaving me wanting for more I suppose I can try out Sirius XM (just don’t know if I really want to open that Pandora’s box again...they really suck when it comes time to cancel).

Remember, there are good sounding stations and there are very good sounding HD radio stations on TuneIn. You just have to search around.

There is a classic country station in an old town I lived in, but even though I can find better quality at other stations, I still like this particular station.

Also, I tried the paid TuneIn for a while with no commercials, but I went back to the free version because I like free better.

To add, I don’t stream my TIDAL but at home over WiFi since most of my music is Master quality which is better than CD quality. It is worthless in a noisy truck and uses a lot of data so that’s why I use SiriusXM streaming and TuneIn instead of the high end TIDAL.

Despite being pretty much surrounded by large cities, 35-40 miles from Detroit,Flint, Ann Arbor and Lansing we have a lot of poor phone reception areas not to mention worse Internet, I can go out five miles from here and have at least two dropouts in signal, north of here where a friend used to live cell phones were a paperweight.

I started off-roading in northern Michigan this year. Up there Sirius is definitely needed.
