Recommend all-in-one printer for use with smartphone and tablet
I'm looking for a printer that I can use with my smartphone and tablet. I only have the wifi and Bluetooth built into those devices. The only internet I have is the data plan for them. So no computer wifi network.

Just the smartphone, tablet and chromebook. Which is Hotspoted off the smartphone or tablet.

I'm looking for good print quality, but affordable.

Like to keep it $100.00 or under. I haveseen a few in that price range, but don't know how good they are.

Thanks for the help!

Visit the link above. maxxpower sold me with his post on the Brother MFC-L2750DW. Not cheap, but setup was easy, and I’m happy with it so far.

“I've had all the rest, the Brother is flawless.

Wifi works great
Dual sided printing and scanning is great
Fast and clean vs inkjet
Doesn't hold your printer hostage due to "low ink" (this is why I will never buy another Epson)

At first I was hung up on the color, took the advice of the forum a never looked back.”

If you have a "hotspot," you have WiFi. Your phone is the router/access point for your WiFi network using the mobile connection for its upstream. IOW, you can (probably) use a WiFi-enabled printer, not just limited to Bluetooth, etc. The "probably" is because you have to have software that supports your setup, but it is likely that it is doable.

I know the All-In-One HP printers do have an App that you can use to send files to your printer or receive print requests on the same wifi network. Most printers will have their own wifi network you can link your phone to just to send print requests but not go onto the internet with.
